Continuing his recent trend of releasing self-described “lo-fi ganxta” singles, Elee X (Impolite Society) is back with a new cut, featuring (and produced by) Kala Ra. Check it out; “City of God” is one of the realest songs you’ll hear this year.
Blakkass Westley x Chandler London – “Diamond Girl” (Remix) ft. Cadillac Duke [Prod. by Na$im Williams]
Chandler London released this ‘gem’ last April. The Dreamer now revisits the Na$im Williams produced cut, complete with LOD brothers Blakkass Westley (Impolite Society) and Cadillac Duke in tow.
The remix will appear on Chandler and Westley’s upcoming collaborative project, Champion Champloo!, due out this summer.

While preparing for his upcoming release, Amerikkkan $chemin,’ Elee X of Impolite Society treats listeners to “Piccolo,” a lo-fi cut that finds the ImSo spitter dropping Spirit Bombs over an instrumental from Young Heavy Souls affiliate, Airjob.
Amerikkkan $chemin’ drops February 28th.
Netherfriends On NME’s “Radar”

Netherfriends was recently spotted on NME‘s “Radar”- appearing in the publication’s section for new and noteworthy music in its January 25th issue, on newsstands now.
The one-man-band on-the-run will drop his new LP, #P3ACE, on March 3rd, but you can head over to his Bandcamp right now for the first 3 songs (3P).
It’s impossible to say what Shawn Rosenblatt is going to do next. Having already released his ‘50 Songs 50 States’ collection and a Miles Davis-inspired EP, he’s back with yet more new tunes. ‘3P’ consists of (you guessed it) three tracks that are hazier than a coffee shop in Amsterdam. Dabbling in reggae and R&B sensibilities, ‘3P’ is Netherfriends at his most slinky and seductive. This spring’s anthems have come early. – NME

On Friday, SPIN Magazine premiered “Uptown Boys,” the first single from Netherfriends‘ upcoming album, P3ACE. “Uptown Boys” has been hailed as the “Stoner Anthem of Summer 2013” by many a music journalist. Peep the track below and discover it for yourself.
P3ACE will be the first official studio project from Netherfriends. Combining his current approach to production with a solid knack for songwriting, Netherfriends hooked up with Apollo Sunshine’s Jeremy Black and holed up at Coyote Hearing Studio in Oakland, California.
