Jams Dean debuts the song “Yoga Pants” at Kimball House Rock with DJ Earn Money on the decks. Sharkula was also on hand for the performance, treating the audience to a unique style of improv ad-libs while assuming hype man duties.

We haven’t heard new material from 2nd City Citizen Rich Jones since last summer’s 3-Peat. That trend seems to be coming to an end, as Rich has recently dropped this Doc Da Mindbenda-produced romp, “Push The Button,” which premiered on GoILL.net last week.

Continuing his recent trend of releasing self-described “lo-fi ganxta” singles, Elee X (Impolite Society) is back with a new cut, featuring (and produced by) Kala Ra. Check it out; “City of God” is one of the realest songs you’ll hear this year.

Chandler London – Ritchie: A Space Odyssey
Boldly go with Chandler London on Ritchie: A Space Odyssey- the introduction to his “rap space-opera.”
As if by transporter, the EP appeared seemingly from out of nowhere and was instantly gobbled up by hungry fans and praised by critics at Chicago Reader, Fake Shore Drive, and Gowhere Hip Hop, among others.
London has a knack for creating imagery more vivid than a Holodeck session; on Ritchie… he does so over instrumentals from Kid Cudi’s Satellite Flight album, which just dropped a few weeks ago.
